What did Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. do for you?
They assisted me in my case with Stuyvesant Town in regard to succession rights to the apartment that I live in.
How did you meet the firm?
I met the firm about two years ago through an associate of mine who is also in the Real Estate Industry.
Could you explain what led you to seek legal help?
The problem with my landlord where they were seeking to evict me from my residence which I lived at in excess of twenty years – my home – and it was a major, major landlord with very strong counsel and, so, that is why I came to Adam Leitman Bailey and associates.
Who did you work with here at the firm?
I worked with Chris Halligan and Dov Treiman and, of course, Adam Bailey.
What were your first impressions?
First impressions were they have very nice offices, very nice building and in a great location and the impressions from there were really all positive, very organized and good in terms of advising game plans.
Could you go explain what you think the firm’s best qualities were in assisting to your needs?
I think that the firm’s best qualities were bringing together the best of their team for my specific needs or requirements and taking that team sitting down with me; Adam sat down with me as well, and really focusing on the problem or the law suit in this case and organizing between really three attorneys what the best strategy was to approach our problem.
Could you describe the difference in the approach taken by Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. versus your prior lawyer?
Well, that would probably take over an hour which I don’t want to take up much time but, I will say that the essence of the difference was really being on top of the case, being organized, great skills and being very sharp and in a world of difference that makes both timing….well timing is everything as we know.
How would you apprise the way the Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. attorneys dealt with the opposing counsel?
They dealt with them with courtesy but also firmly. It seemed that Chris in particular had a very good working relationship with the other firm and knew many of the attorneys from the firm and I am sure by the end of the day that was helpful in achieving results which we achieved in my case.
How did that plan work out?
It worked out great. In fact, we were able to settle the case in my favor prior to going to court.
