MIDTOWN WEST—Self-described “commercial super broker”James Famularo (right) has issued a press release detailing a recent big sale. We present it to you in full form below:
After several months of negotiations and countless obstacles exclusive broker James Famularo sold the commercial condominium on the West 37th street & 10^th avenue to Amir Korangy of The Real Deal Magazine for a production studio, this amazing 2500 square ft studio was sold for approximately $1,200,000.00.
‘This deal was very difficult because of the three selling partners; they couldn’t seem to agree on anything said Mr. Famularo but thanks to Adam Leitman Bailey & the other 8 attorneys needed to settle the past issues between the trio.
‘It was like a never ending poker game from hell’ one partner would agree and the other would wait a month and come back with a different suggestion! Thankfully Mr. Korangy was very patient & cooperative.
Oh, we almost forgot the coda: “Mr. James Famularo represented the buyer & seller of this transaction.” [CurbedWire Inbox]
UPPER EAST SIDE—Another press release heralds a future full of more UES towers. To wit, “Orin Wilf, President of Skyline Developers, LLC announced the purchase of 1381-1389 Third Avenue located on the corner of 79th and Third Avenue. The site, which can accommodate a 150,000 sq. ft. development, is one of the last remaining pieces of developable property on the Upper East Side. Wilf assembled the site by acquiring five existing residential and commercial buildings for the total purchase price of $36 million.” According to Lois Weiss, this could be the end for Annies, the go to brunch spot for the hood.
