“There’s a whole array of diverse cultures and ages” – Richard, Accounting Analyst
My name is Rich, and I’m the Accounting Analyst at Adam Leitman Bailey PC. I heard about this firm through the recruitment company, which connected me with John. I was called in for an interview, actually in this very room, and I thought it went well. Afterward, I was getting ready to stay in for the day when I got another call asking when I could come back in. I rushed back, literally sprinting, and finally got the interview with John and Adam. By the time I got home, I received a call offering me the position. I started with the company in June 2021 and have been loving it ever since.
I assist with the billing department, as well as the accounting and banking departments. I realized I wanted to work here during my interview. I really liked John and Adam. Some people say that work is just work, but what makes it fun here is the diversity. There’s a wide range of ages and cultures, and when we get together, it’s always a good time. I like that in the summer, we have something called “summer lunches” where we get together every Friday for lunch. It helps me get to know people.
I find that we all work together, and when anyone struggles with something, there’s always someone there to help. Even though we work hard, we can always have a good laugh together. I like coming into work because I’m always greeted by everyone. I’m a little shy, so it’s nice that others tend to say hi to me first. I also like that I’m not micromanaged. I’m given responsibilities, and as long as I get the job done, I feel like I’m my own boss.
From this room, I can see the Statue of Liberty, which is such a great view. John is my boss, and I do work with Adam, but not as much as I do with John. I really like John as a boss. He’s always there for me, ready to answer my questions, and he takes care of me. If I have a need, he’ll work something out for me. I do believe there’s a sense of family at this firm, and we do look out for each other.
