My name is Blair Gregory, and I’m a Supreme Litigation Paralegal here at Adam Leitman Bailey PC. I was fortunate enough to land an interview here, where I met with a few attorneys. After a second round, I had the opportunity to meet Adam. We had a great conversation, and although I was nervous, I was really excited. A day later, I was offered the position.
One thing I’ve learned here at Adam Leitman Bailey is that having a can-do attitude is absolutely essential. Working here has given me the confidence to take on the world. I’ve been given the chance to learn from every department, which is something I really appreciate. My role as a paralegal involves drafting and filing documents, but I’ve also gained firsthand experience in marketing, operations, and IT. Being able to learn so much from so many different areas is definitely one of the best reasons to work here.
The workplace culture here is incredibly integrated. Everyone is eager to help and ensure everything is done correctly and excellently. There has never been a moment when I’ve felt that I couldn’t go to someone with a question. The firm encourages collaboration, and I’ve learned that what’s the point of doing something if you’re not going to do it well? This mindset of striving for excellence is one of the core aspects of the firm’s culture, and it benefits both clients and employees.
My favorite part of working here is the relationships I’ve built with my colleagues. I love coming in every day knowing that I have so many friends to work with. One of my closest friends here is Maria, and we text each other every day now. The people here are inspiring, and it’s motivating to see what everyone is able to accomplish. For example, one of my principal attorneys, Joanna, is making real estate law happen in real time, while Adam is a larger-than-life figure who was able to bring in clients even during the pandemic.
My proudest achievement here has been learning how to be more capable. I’ve grown so much personally and professionally. In my day-to-day, things can change in an instant, and I’ve learned to adapt and overcome any obstacles that come my way. Even when I’m not immediately capable of handling something, I know I can learn and rise to the challenge, thanks to the supportive environment here that encourages growth.
Teamwork is absolutely essential to any business, and Adam Leitman Bailey PC has an amazing team. The people here are not only ridiculously smart, but they are also welcoming and encouraging. It’s truly one of the most incredible places to work.
Client service is another key component of our work. I take pride in answering client questions and ensuring that documents are sent as soon as possible. It’s important to provide exceptional care because our clients are a priority, and delivering excellent service is essential. I feel like we’re a well-oiled machine, accomplishing so much with a relatively small team. Everyone is dedicated to the work, the clients, and each other, which creates a sense of community and family that’s rare in most workplaces.
For anyone who wishes to be a paralegal, I’d say that maintaining composure and a calm mind is crucial. The day-to-day can change quickly, and learning to stay level-headed in those moments is part of what makes this job exciting. I had very little understanding of real estate law before working here, but I quickly realized how much more complex and exciting it is than I had imagined. The attorneys here know how to move things quickly and get what they need for our clients, and it’s amazing to see.
What makes this firm unique is the opportunity to learn across so many different areas. I’ve been fortunate to gain experience in fields I never thought I would. I don’t feel pigeonholed into one area, and I’m confident that whatever I do in the future, I’ll be very well-equipped with the knowledge and experience I’ve gained here. The excellent mentors and teachers at this firm have provided me with invaluable guidance, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from them.
