“Hi, I’m Nicole Case, a 2L at Hofstra Law School. This past year, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a litigation extern at Adam Leitman Bailey PC. My experience has been both hands-on and comprehensive, particularly in real estate litigation. I’ve worked on a major landlord-tenant case, where I was deeply involved in document review and retrieval, depositions, and legal research.
What stood out to me about this firm is how immersive the experience was—I wasn’t just shadowing attorneys, I was contributing meaningfully to the cases from day one. I was even able to attend oral arguments at the Second Department and sit in on depositions, gaining real-world insight into litigation.
