“The biggest takeway for me is the hands-on experience I was given”
Interviewer:
“Can you please introduce yourself?”
Natalie Puzio:
“Hi, my name is Natalie Puzio. I worked for Adam Leitman Bailey during the summer between my sophomore and junior years of college. I’m currently a 2L at Fordham Law School in Manhattan.”
Interviewer:
“What did you enjoy most about working at Adam Leitman Bailey PC?”
Natalie Puzio:
“What I enjoyed most about working in Adam’s office was the ability to dive in and work with a variety of people. The office is really diverse, and I had the opportunity to work with new attorneys, recent law school grads, and Adam directly. Everyone was so open to the projects I wanted to work on, and they were really welcoming and helpful with feedback. It was a great place for new young attorneys to start because you’re really able to explore different fields and see how the work is done in real life.”
Interviewer:
“Can you tell us about your experience working here?”
Natalie Puzio:
“I had a fantastic experience working for Adam’s office during the summer. I worked as a legal intern for the entire summer and was able to work in both the transactional and litigation departments. It was unlike any other internship I’ve had before. I got hands-on experience from day one. I watched courtroom trials, attended depositions, and worked on a variety of projects, including legal research and helping with leases, mortgages, and co-ops in the transactional department. It gave me a broad understanding of real estate law, and I really appreciated being exposed to such a wide range of work.”
Interviewer:
“Did your internship experience help shape your decision to go to law school?”
Natalie Puzio:
“Before the internship, I was unsure about going to law school, but by the end of the summer, I knew for sure that I wanted to pursue it. The environment at Adam’s office is filled with passionate attorneys who are eager to share their knowledge and help you understand the realities of working as an attorney. It was a great experience that solidified my decision to go to law school.”
Interviewer:
“What made Adam Leitman Bailey PC stand out to you?”
Natalie Puzio:
“What makes Adam Leitman Bailey PC stand out is how quickly you get hands-on experience. In college and law school, there’s a lot of theoretical work, but here, you’re immediately involved in real projects, watching trials, and interacting with clients. It’s a great place to see how the law works in real life and explore different areas of law.”
Interviewer:
“How did Adam support your career development?”
Natalie Puzio:
“Adam was not only a great person to work with, but he was also incredibly supportive of my career development. After my internship with him, he helped me secure another internship with a judge, where I got to see what it’s like to work in a courtroom on a daily basis. Adam really helped me build my career and personal success, and he was always looking out for my growth.”
