“Enjoy your time here, you’re going to miss it when you leave.”

Interviewer:
“Hello, can you introduce yourself please?”

Arpita Gentela:
“Hi, my name is Arpita Gentela. I’m an international student from Mumbai, India. Currently, I’m a senior at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, double-majoring in Economics and Human Resource Management. I’m also a digital marketing intern at ALBPC.”

Interviewer:
“And what are your goals career-wise?”

Arpita Gentela:
“My career goals are to be a Human Resource Specialist in the next ten years, and eventually, I would like to get into headhunting.”

Interviewer:
“Do you feel like you’ve gotten the experience you wanted out of this internship?”

Arpita Gentela:
“Yes, definitely. With technology advancing today, it’s always good to have some technical knowledge about WordPress or even content migration. I’ve learned a lot and I hope to start out as an employee after graduation.”

Interviewer:
“What was your role at ALBPC?”

Arpita Gentela:
“I was a digital marketing intern at ALBPC.”

Interviewer:
“And what was your experience like? Can you tell me about the types of tasks that you performed?”

Arpita Gentela:
“I mainly performed content migration, which is primarily moving content from the old website to a new one. I also worked on other projects, such as social media and award management, as well as LinkedIn marketing strategies. Additionally, I assisted with HR projects, including updating the benefits report and helping the Director of Marketing with hiring fall interns.”

Interviewer:
“How did the firm help you prepare for any of these tasks?”

Arpita Gentela:
“We received formal training in SEO (search engine optimization), which gave us a head start on content migration. Knowing what the market is looking for is crucial when building a new website. We also received formal training in LinkedIn marketing, which helped us understand how marketing works in the real world.”

Interviewer:
“And which tasks would you say you enjoyed the most?”

Arpita Gentela:
“I found SEO really interesting. None of us were from a legal background, so it was fascinating to work on building traffic for the web page.”

Interviewer:
“Did you get to work with Adam directly?”

Arpita Gentela:
“Yes, I did. On my first day, I actually researched a case with another attorney, and Adam was also helping me with that research.”

Interviewer:
“Who would you say you worked with the most?”

Arpita Gentela:
“I worked the most with the Director of Marketing and five other interns throughout my internship.”

Interviewer:
“What skills did you learn at ALBPC that will be helpful in the future?”

Arpita Gentela:
“Skills like WordPress, SEO, marketing strategies, and how to recruit interns will definitely be useful for me going forward.”

Interviewer:
“What is the most memorable moment you had at ALBPC?”

Arpita Gentela:
“The most memorable moment was just coming into work every day, enjoying the work environment while getting my tasks done.”

Interviewer:
“Do you have any comments for future interns about working here in general?”

Arpita Gentela:
“Enjoy your time here because you’re going to miss it once you leave.”

Interviewer:
“Thank you, Arpita.”
