“I am really very happy with his work…Even though we had a very difficult case, everything worked out great”
One client speaks of his experience working with Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C.
Praise for the firm and its work
“Even though we had a bad case, everything worked out great… He handled the case very good and we had a very hard case but he still did good with us. Finally we are settled and we got something that we were not expecting, to get that kind of money.”
[Applause]
I’ve had an office in Manhattan on 31st Street, but for some reason, I ran into trouble with the landlord. We didn’t work on resolving the issue fast enough. Honestly, I think we made some mistakes. When it all started going downhill, I began looking for a lawyer.
I asked a few of my friends for recommendations, and everyone pointed me to Mr. D’Angelo Massimo. Two or three people specifically told me, “He’s a very nice and honest lawyer.” Based on their recommendations, we chose him, and I’m really very, very happy with his work.
He’s very honest, and I even got the chance to meet the owner, Adam. I think I talked to him as well, and he was very nice. So far, we’re very happy with the firm. They did everything properly, and they even managed to collect some money for us despite us having a very bad case.
Here’s what happened: we were served with papers, but we were misled by the landlord’s team. They convinced us not to do anything about it, making us think the landlords would get back to us on their own. Instead, they lied to us. We ignored the papers we were served, and by the time the marshals came and closed our office, it was too late to fix things.
It was such a difficult case, but I think Mr. D’Angelo handled it very well. He even managed to negotiate with the landlord to get us some money for the damages—something we weren’t even expecting.
He’s a wonderful attorney and a very honest person. One of the best things about him is that he won’t just tell you to keep going with a case if he doesn’t think it’s worth it. He won’t encourage you to spend money on something he doesn’t believe has a chance of success. For example, in our case, he told us to stop pursuing legal action against the landlord because it wasn’t worth the money we’d be spending. Instead, we focused on negotiating, and with his help, we managed to get results.
Even in court, everyone seemed to like him. He was friendly with other lawyers and always fair. Despite how hard our case was, he still did a great job with it. Ultimately, we were able to settle, and he got us something we didn’t think was possible—money we never expected to recover.
I’ve heard from other businesses—friends of mine who also dealt with this law firm and Mr. D’Angelo—and they’ve all said the same thing: they’re very good, and they take great care of their clients.
I’m very happy we chose to work with him.
