Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. Celebrates Our Two Externs Passing the Bar
Caleb and Zoe started as externs at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C., and truly excelled during their time here. Initially, we didn’t think we had any openings available—as with any business, it’s hard to predict when the workload will grow. But then, as we got busier, we were fortunate to have these incredible externs, and we brought them on as full-time team members.
As we approach our 25th year starting in January, we hope that Caleb and Zoe will be part of this firm for the rest of their lives. Now, I’d like to turn it over to them to speak—congratulations, Caleb and Zoe!
[Applause]
Zoe:
I want to say thank you to everyone for congratulating me and Caleb. I’m very happy to be part of this wonderful firm. I truly enjoy working here, and I hope to grow and succeed as part of this team. Cheers!
Caleb:
I’ll echo the same sentiments and say thank you to everyone. Law school is an interesting experience—you spend three years learning, only to realize when you graduate that there’s so much more to learn about actually practicing law. Law school teaches you how to think, but not always how to practice.
Coming back to a firm where I know so many people and where I’m getting to know even more of you has been very comforting. The transition from law school to practice can be complicated. I’ve spoken to others who’ve started at new places, and they often say it takes a lot of time to adjust.
Here, I’ve had such an amazing support system. I know I can walk into Maria’s office and ask her for help. I can even walk into Adam’s office—even though he’s always busy, he’ll say, “Just come sit, we’ll talk.” That’s meant so much to me.
I appreciate having all of you here to help me adjust to this new chapter in my life. I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I’m grateful for all of your support. Thank you, everyone.
[Applause]
Adam:
That was great—well spoken!
