2020 Raymond Hap Harrison Scholarship Winner Gives an Update Three Years Later
Rachel: Hi, my name is Rachel Ferguson, and I’m a rising senior at Queen’s College, where I’m studying psychology and data analytics. I was an intern with Adam Leitman Bailey in 2019-2020, and I was honored to be a recipient of the Raymond Hap Harrison Scholarship.
This scholarship was a game changer for me. It helped fund my tuition and allowed me to fully embrace my college experience. As a first-generation immigrant, the financial support meant I didn’t have to worry about paying for college, which freed me to explore different opportunities.
With the scholarship, I had the chance to study abroad, live on campus, and even serve as a resident assistant. It gave me the freedom to try new things and figure out what I truly wanted from my college journey.
At Queen’s College, I’m focused on psychology and data analytics, and after graduation, I plan to pursue a Master’s in healthcare administration. Law, specifically healthcare law, has always been my passion, and I hope to focus on policy reform regarding patient care.
I first met Adam and the entire team at Adam Leitman Bailey in 2019, and I was inspired by their dedication and commitment. Everyone there has such vibrant personalities and a deep passion for helping others, which encouraged me to work hard and develop a strong work ethic.
I’m incredibly grateful to Adam and for the Raymond Hap Harrison Scholarship. Without their support, I wouldn’t have had the chance to experience all that college has to offer.
