“Residential Building Laws of the COVID-19 Pandemic” Fidelity CLE
On July 14th, 2020 Adam Leitman Bailey will be conducting a continuing legal education (CLE) seminar on the residential building laws of the COVID-19 pandemic sponsored by Fidelity National Title Insurance Company.
The sky was falling. Enduring the worst residential real estate crisis during our lifetimes, Adam Leitman Bailey was asked by Fidelity National Title to present a lecture explaining the new rules of the pandemic. Adam Leitman Bailey reviewed the new laws passed by the State government, the Governor’s Executive Orders, the New York City Council and the Court administrators. He also used the most recent case law and case law from past pandemics from the Spanish Flu and Scarlet Fever to guide landlords, tenants, developers, owners, boards, cooperatives and condominiums on how to police their buildings and make them Covid-19 free. He used numerous examples to explain many of the common problems facing buildings during Covid and how buildings are dealing with the most difficult problems.
