Kerstein A. Camilien
Kerstein A. Camilien is a law clerk in the firm’s litigation and transaction department. Kerstein has passed the New York State Bar exam and is awaiting admission to the New York State Bar. Once admitted, Kerstein will be practicing in the firm’s Landlord-Tenant, Land Use and Litigation groups. Mr. Camilien’s journey with our firm began in 2022 when he joined as a legal extern. He later progressed to the role of a summer associate and was eventually offered an associate position.
Mr. Camilien first found Adam Leitman Bailey P.C as an undergraduate in college and became enamoured with the law firm and decided he wanted to become a real estate litigator. During his time at Syracuse Law School, he actively participated in various organizations such as the Travis H.D. Lewin Advocacy Society, Black Law Students Association, and Syracuse University Real Estate Society Club. Additionally, he dedicated his final semester of law school to volunteering with the civil division of Hiscock Legal Aid Society, focusing primarily on landlord-tenant court matters.
Mr. Camilien has contributed to numerous projects within our firm. His notable achievements include assisting in the publication of an article in the esteemed New York Law Journal. Furthermore, he was featured in the Wall Street Journal Opinion Series, specifically addressing the concerns of first-time homebuyers.
