Adam Leitman Bailey Presents at New Milford High School Mock Trial – 2010

Adam Leitman Bailey Presents at New Milford High School Mock Trial

On April 16, 2010, Adam Leitman Bailey, Esq., joined by friend and fellow attorney, Alan Friedman, Esq. assisted the students of New Milford High School in conducting a mock trial.

The students took on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, the defendant, the judge and members of the jury, to conduct a murder trial in front of an audience of their peers. Adam and Alan, as co-counsel to the prosecution and the defense respectively, assisted the students in forming and presenting their legal arguments, and even stood up in debate and argument to show the students how it really happens in court!

The day was a success, with all of the students getting thoroughly involved and enjoying themselves. After convincing arguments from both sides, the jury were split five to one and even the audience were undecided, so in the interest of justice a not guilty verdict was given.
