My main objective for this internship at the Law Firm of Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. was to expand my knowledge of the legal profession. I’m satisfied to report that my goal was definitely reached and even surpassed. My knowledge of the law has increased tremendously. That’s not to say that it has been a cakewalk but the overall outcome has been extremely meaningful. Working for a Wall Street law firm 1 have learned many lessons that will help my career in the future. In fact, I’ve decided that 1, too, want to start my own corporate law firm and because of the assistance! received from Adam, and the staff, I now have a clear impression of how to make my company strive for the true “key of success”.
While I have been working here, I have observed that hard work is the backbone to everyone’s success. It is reflected throughout all of the great results that this firm has achieved. The Staff comes to work with a determined attitude to do an excellent job for the day and because of that, it has influenced me to do my very best as well.
There are many reasons this internship was exciting but the most memorable is due to my colleagues. Three paralegals,[anonymous], [anonymous], [anonymous] and three legal assistants Tanya, Sheila, and Veda, and a lawyer, D.B. David Shin all of whom had welcome me with open arms and encouraged me to succeed. When I was faced with a dilemma, they gave me positive advice on improving the situation. With them, I accomplished every task I was assigned. Due to this experience, I am more focused on the path to becoming a corporate lawyer and for that I am thankful.
As you take my position of being the new legal assistant, I hope you gain the same experience, if not a new perspective of the field of law as! did. Remember, everything count’s, from making copies to going to court to file a document, all contributes toward taking this law firm one step further.
