Breanne Springstead – 2012 Scholarship Recipient
Breanne interned at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in 2011 and received her scholarship in 2012. With help from the Raymond ‘Hap’ Harrison Scholarship, Breanne graduated from Rutgers University in 2016 with a BA in Communication and Minors in Psychology, Sociology, and Human Resource Management. She is currently a full-time ELA teacher at Fair Lawn High School after receiving her MA in Teaching from Montclair State University in 2020 (with dual certification in secondary English education (Language Arts) and teaching students with disabilities). Breanne worked as a substitute teacher at New Milford Public School from 2017-2019, and prior to this she worked as an Editorial Assistant and Online Editorial Intern at Rolling Stone Magazine between 2016-2017.

Jennifer Teets – 2013 Scholarship Recipient
Jennifer is currently a full-time nurse at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Jersey City University in 2022. During university, she worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the National Health Promotion Associates, Inc. between 2019-2021.
Jennifer interned at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in 2016 before receiving her scholarship. The Raymond ‘Hap’ Harrison Scholarship helped her graduate from the College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Sociology with a Specialization in Health and Environment and a Minor in Public Health in 2017. After this, Jennifer went on to earn a Masters of Public Health from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2019. She worked as a Teaching Assistant for the course “Biological Determinants of Health” and as a Graduate Fellow for the Global Healthy Living Foundation in 2018.

Kelly McNaughton – 2014 Scholarship Recipient
Kelly was an intern at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in 2013 before becoming a Marketing Associate for the firm in 2016. The Raymond ‘Hap’ Harrison Scholarship helped Kelly graduate from Rutgers Business School in 2018. Kelly then went on to earn her JD from Rutgers Law School in 2021 and graduated summa cum laude. While in law school, she worked as the Managing Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review from 2020-2021. Kelly currently works as an associate at Fox Rothschild LLP, where she previously worked as a Summer Associate Law Clerk in 2020. Prior to this, she worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division from 2021-2022.

Stefany Lazieh – 2016 Scholarship Recipient
Stefany was and intern at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in 2015 and was awarded the Raymond ‘Hap’ Harrison Scholarship in 2016. The scholarship helped Stefany graduate Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University in 2020, majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry with Minors in Chemistry and Arabic. She is currently a medical student at John Hopkins University School of Medicine. She worked full-time as an Americorps Member at Sun River Health from 2020-2021.

Chabely Jorge – 2016 Scholarship Recipient
Chabely was an intern at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in 2015 and received the scholarship in 2016. She has accepted an offer to join the New York Litigation group at McDermott Will & Emery starting Fall 2023. She worked at McDermott Will & Emery as a law clerk and summer associate in 2022 prior to this offer. At Columbia, she worked as the online editor of the Columbia Journal of Race and Law from 2020-2022 and worked as a legal extern for The Bronx Defenders in 2021. The scholarship helped her graduate from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Latin American & Caribbean Studies in 2020, before going on to earn her JD from Columbia Law School in 2023.

Ashley Brito – 2016 Scholarship Recipient
After interning at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C., Ashely Brito earned her scholarship in 2016. With the help of the Raymond ‘Hap’ Harrison Scholarship, Ashely graduated Cum Laude from Fordham University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Anthropology in 2020. She worked at Lincoln Square Legal Services Inc, first as a Law Clinic Administrative Assistant and then a Temporary Clinic Assistant from 2018-2020. Prior to this, she worked as a campaign intern for Assemblyman, Michael Blake, in 2018. She participated in Pre-Law Undergraduate Scholar (PLUS) in 2018 at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology and participated in a full-time three week legal immersion program.
