“As a recipient of this generous scholarship, I am able to fund my legal education without taking multiple student loans or seeking part-time employment. This financial freedom has enabled me to concentrate on academics.”
Dear Mr. Bailey:
I am a third year student at Syracuse University College of Law writing to introduce myself and to express my gratitude as the 2009-2010 recipient of the scholarship as an Adam Leitman Bailey P.C. Scholar.
As a recipient of this generous scholarship, I am able to fund my legal education without taking multiple student loans or seeking part-time employment. This financial freedom has enabled me to concentrate on academics. It has also allowed me to be actively involved in the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, APALSA and the Children’s Rights and Family Law Clinic. Because of this scholarship, I am able to pursue my final year of law school without the worry of financial constraints.
I decided to attend Syracuse University College of Law due to its excellent professors and faculty and the school’s close interrelationships with its alumni members. Although at the outset. I wanted to pursue intellectual property law. however. I have realized that during my time here. I wanted to he a litigator. Thus. I have now focused my career path into criminal prosecution or something in the family law sector.
Thank you again for your donation. Your support of the College of Law and its students is remarkable and has certainly made a difference in my education experience.
Respectfully,
Donald Lee
