Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. Interns Awarded College Scholarship

Adam Leitman Bailey named Raquel Beckford and Breanne Springstead the sixth and seventh recipients of the Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship respectively. Ms. Beckford is a member of the 2012 graduating class of Peace and Diversity Academy and Ms Springstead is a member of the 2012 graduating class of New Milford High School.

Adam Leitman Bailey started this scholarship in honor of his high school cross country and track coach, Raymond “Hap” Harrison. The scholarship is awarded annually to a High School graduate that will be attending college. Mr. Bailey is a 1988 graduate of New Milford High School.

To receive the Harrison accolades, a recipient must possess many of the ideals and traits that Raymond Harrison instilled in Adam Leitman Bailey. The recipient must also demonstrate financial need and strong academic achievement, while at the same time pursuing Mr. Harrison’s deep-seated values of success and the desire to make the world a better place through helping others.

Breanne was a paid intern at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. for the Summer of 2011. Ms Springstead graduates ninth in her class and will attend Rutgers University in the Fall. Raquel was a paid intern at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. from the Fall of 2011 until the summer of 2012. Ms Beckford graduates as the Saluditorian of her class and will attend Trinity College in the Fall. Both recipients have successfully demonstrated all of the qualities required to become another Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship winner.
