Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. Presents the Raymond Hap Harrison Scholarship To Laura Benoit

Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. in conjunction with Building Foundations & Dreams, Inc. present the 13th Annual Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship in recognition of academic achievement and deep-seated values of success to Laura Benoit, 2020 New Milford High School Graduate.

Adam: Good morning everybody.

Annabelle: Good morning. I’m Annabelle from Adam Leitman Bailey’s office.

Laura: Yeah, hi. I think I met you over the summer at one point to. Sorry I’m covering the labeling. Thank you. I can’t thank you enough.

New Milford High Rep.: Beautiful.

New Milford High Rep.: I just want to thank you Adam. It’s been a number of years I just want to thank you for your continued support. Your support continues, and it’s so nice to see Laura receiving this award, so it’s nice to see.

Adam: That’s wonderful. When we decided to give the scholarship out, we named it after Raymond “Hap” Harrison and his ideals things like never giving up and not competing against other people but competing against yourself when things got difficult and things do get difficult. It helps you overcome them. So it’s a four-year scholarship, $10,000 a year. If you need extra money, there’s extra in the pot. If you ever need things, just let us know and congratulations.

Laura: Thank you so much. I’m honored. I really am.

Adam: Then we also try to help you get jobs afterwards, during the summers.

New Milford High Rep.: This is the first year that we have had an official internship program started at New Milford High School. Laura became part of the internship program. I’m speaking for you, Laura Your staff, the way she was treated, the experience that she got was just outstanding.

Adam: You do an incredible job, and the teachers do an incredible job raising these kids. Laura it’s going to be a tough run coming up. It’s going to be very difficult. We’re going to need great leaders.

Laura: I am grateful to have this experience early on.

Adam: It’s going to be really tough out there so I would learn as much as you can, take it seriously, and come out ready to take on the world, hopefully.

New Milford High Rep.: Thank you.

Annabelle: Well done, Laura, and congratulations.

New Milford High Rep.: Bye. Take care. Thank you.
