Adam Leitman Bailey has supported countless students, scholars, interns and externs over the years… Here’s their story.

For the past decade, Adam Leitman Bailey has supported countless students, scholars, interns, and  externs. Here’s their story…

We are the Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship winners.

Brittany: Not only did I receive the scholarship for one year. Adam actually renewed the scholarship for all four years, so it was a huge help.

The scholarship is really helpful

Obviously nowadays college is like super expensive

It takes such a huge load of you to not have to worry about paying loans of and everything.

and now I’m able to come out of college with very minimal loans and things like that. Obviously I have it all, owe it all, to Adam.

I just think it’s incredible how Adam just he’s continued to just give and give.

So just having that constant support, not only monetarily, but also, you know, emotionally

and especially Adam would like drop anything when I was wait-listed at University of Pennsylvania he like bent over backwards to try to get me in

Adam really takes you under this wing because when I was applying to college, he was the one that helped me, wrote recommendations for me, and he helped me get into Syracuse.

If I didn’t work here, I would not have known exactly what I was capable of as far as handling large amount of workloads.

I consider myself so lucky to have met Adam and just learning how to be in an office and talk to people.

It taught me how to function in the professional world.

I had a great experience working for Adam’s office. I was a legal intern. I worked for the entire summer.

I was able to figure out how to balance studying, having fun, maintaining my grades.

I was able to work in both the transactional and litigation department.

I would absolutely take an externship or an internship here. You get exposed to a fast-paced, very busy work environment, which you can’t learn in school.

I wanted to gain experience 1) working in real estate law and 2) just working in a law firm environment.

I learned a ton about what goes into the entire process of buying a home.

Real estate documents and legal documents

Different leases and different mortgages and co-ops

Renewal leases for a rent-stabilized building

Condo and co-op location

Researching legal issues, drafting motions, writing memos

I really liked drafting motions

Conducting a lot of legal research

Doing legal research

Legal research

A lot of research and a lot of bank closings

Correspondence, legal  notices

Creating PDF files, taking photos

Website development and video creation

Really, really interesting mortgage fraud, fraudulent transfer cases

And you sort of learn to juggle a lot of the different things that go on

I got to observe a trial

I was able to learn about the interactions of the different parties at a closing table

I think I really learned a lot

It’s a great, great opportunity.

There’s so many amazing people working here, and I felt honored and privileged to work here.

The best aspect of working here is the environment.

This is a very friendly environment to work in.

It’s such a positive work environment.

Everybody’s so friendly, and it’s a very open and welcoming environment.

From day one, I felt like I was part of the Adam Leitman Bailey family.

Everybody is in a family.

Everyone here is very friendly, and you’re able to sort of feel at home right away.

Just the atmosphere here in the office, I really loved the rapport that the attorneys had with one another and the respect and you know the fun that we all had together. It really made it an enjoyable semester.

I have to say the people. I’ve worked in a few different places before. I’ve never really seen a place where everybody seems to really get along, and I was thought that was different about this place.

There’s just a professional culture here that I’ve never experienced before working in other law firms.

I really enjoyed the people. I really enjoyed meeting a lot of the different people.

The firm is really, really friendly. Everybody’s personable.

Hard work, yes but they also seem to enjoy themselves. There’s sort of a bit of a community feeling here, and you sort of felt like you’re a part of what was going on and that that was pretty huge.

Everybody was just so welcoming.

The people are just nice. Everybody is very nice.

Everybody is very nice, very like easygoing.

Everyone here is super nice, super nice.

Everyone here is really great.

The attorneys are really great in giving good direction.

They take the time to help you and explain stuff to you.

Everyone’s so approachable. The partners are approachable.

Everybody is personable and approachable. Everyone’s willing to help.

Everyone was really generous with their time.

They value everybody’s opinion and let you grow.

This is definitely a great environment to grow.

Probably the best experience was working with Adam directly. I worked specifically on a research paper for him that he eventually turned into a presentation, so that was really interesting and now I kind of feel like I’m sort of an expert in that field.

I did get to work with Adam Bailey directly. We worked on an article together.

I assisted him on an article.

I got to work with Adam doing research for two articles: one he published in the New York Law Journal and another one to accompany a presentation he’ll be doing.

I worked with him on two different lectures that he was giving.

I worked with him on a couple of late nights preparing and editing a book that’s coming out in spring.

And also what was nice was that Mr. Bailey would come and you know approached me, asked me if I was enjoying what I was doing.

I was also fortunate that I was able to have a desk for a while right near his office and that was good because I was able to just sort of see what he does and get more exposure to his management style.

Adam is really interested in giving you real world and substantive legal work.

I think he’s a great teacher. He’s extremely enthusiastic and that makes you more encouraged.

I think he is s a very genuine person, great to work with. I’ve learned a lot from him.

He is very honest and down to earth.

He gives you a lot of really great feedback.

I appreciate his honesty.

He has been a great mentor and someone that I can go to if I ever had a question.

Adam did give me some specific advice which is network, network, network.

Iit will definitely help me further my career. It’s already enhanced my resume so much.

I think I’ve gained a lot of skills that I can use to grow in my legal career.

I came from knowing nothing in the field to being a total expert.

To be honest, this was an absolutely moving experience. I can really say that I wanted to come to work every day.

I had a fantastic experience.

It was really a great experience.

It was a great experience.

Keep doing what you’re doing. It was, it really was a great experience.

It’s a great place to work.

Thank you for the experience here.

I’ve learned a whole lot.

I am so grateful to Adam for giving me this opportunity.

He has taught me how to be courageous, how to give tough love, how to be persistent.

I feel so lucky that I had this opportunity.

This is an excellent opportunity.

I had a great time

I learned a great deal.

I’ve learned so much.

I have a lot of good memories here.

I would 100% recommend this.

It was fun.

It was a great experience in general. I look forward to continuing.

He’s always going to be a contact of mine, so he’s pretty much changed my life.

It was truly life-changing.

Thank you. It was a great experience. I’m very, very grateful for it.

Thank you Adam!

Thank you Adam for giving me this opportunity.

I’d like to thank Adam and everyone here at ALB.

A special thank you to Adam.

I just want to thank everyone at ALB and Adam especially.

I’m just really thankful for the scholarship and thankful to Adam.

Thank you.

I just want to thank Adam so much for the opportunity to come here.

Most teenagers don’t get the chance to do something like this, and I just really appreciated it so much, so thank you.

I just want to thank Adam and the whole firm for this opportunity and a really great experience.

I just want to thank Adam for hiring me.

Thank you for the opportunity.

It was once in a lifetime, and I’ve learned so much. Thank you

He really has gone above and beyond to make sure that we have everything we need to succeed.

Without Adam’s support and the scholarship I don’t think I would have been able to obviously travel abroad and just and complete my college years without his help, so obviously I thank him and I owe a lot to him
