“Adam is one of the most selfless and caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing.”
Hello, my name is Stefany Lazieh. I am a graduating senior at The Honors College of Rutgers. I have been involved with Kier’s Kidz for nearly two-and-a-half years, first as a member of Kier’s Kidz at Rutgers and now as a member of The Board of Trustees.
In high school, I would never have imagined being involved with such an amazing nonprofit organization. In fact, had it not been for Mr. Adam Leitman Bailey, Esq., a supportive, inspiring mentor I had while I was in high school, I may not have even gotten into Rutgers.
Adam is one of the most selfless and caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. After overcoming numerous obstacles throughout his life, and establishing what is now one of the most successful real estate law firms in New York City, Adam decided to give back to the community. He founded a nonprofit organization, called “Building Foundations and Dreams,” to assist students in pursuing their personal and professional dreams. Not only has he donated over one million dollars and promoted over 150 projects aimed at improving the community, Adam has provided constant support to all of his scholarship recipients over the years. His dedication to nonprofit work inspired me to look for ways I could give back to my community. His example motivated me to join Kier’s Kidz and to help children and young adults with cancer. My colleagues at Kier’s Kidz have the same dedication and passion that I know has made Adam successful.
I have learned much more about my Rutgers and home communities. Through my involvement with Kier’s Kidz these past years, I have also learned a great deal about pediatric cancers and children and young adults with cancer.”
