Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. Returns Money to Purchaser After Mortgage Commitment Fails

When a buyer—of real property—sought Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C.’s help in his quest to recover his down payment, Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. defended the buyer and prevailed in the case. After the buyer was unable to obtain a mortgage commitment from a lender, the buyer attempted to recover his down payment. However, the landlord insisted that he was entitled to retain the down payment, despite the buyer no longer being able to purchase the property.

Through meticulous attention to detail, the attorneys at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. proved that the seller violated the terms of the contract of sale, in his refusal to return the down payment, and obtained a judgment rewarding the buyer full return of his down payment, $80,500.
