Jamie Schare Rager focuses her practice on landlord-tenant litigation.
She concentrates on evictions and nonpayment proceedings, representing commercial and residential landlords, homeowners, and tenants. Ms. Schare Rager is experienced in litigation and negotiation involving holdovers focusing on non primary residence proceedings, nuisance cases, drug-related holdovers, licensee proceedings, and lease expiration holdovers. She is also experienced in commercial litigation. Representing numerous commercial landlords, Ms. Schare Rager is experienced in the general practice of landlord tenant representation.
Jamie Schare Rager earned her J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, where she placed in the top 15% of her graduating class and her B.A., with honors, from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
While in law school, Ms. Schare Rager served as Associate Notes Editor for the Syracuse Law Review and was selected as a member of the Justinian Honorary Law Society. As an Associate Member of the Moot Court Honor Society, she was a finalist in both the Mackenzie Hughes LLP, Edmund H. Lewis Appellate Competition and the Grossman Trial Competition. In recognition of her dedication to serving others, Ms. Schare Rager was awarded a Certificate of Exemplary Commitment to Pro Bono & Community Service.
Ms. Schare Rager has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star, and was included in the list of Top Women Attorneys in the New York Metro Area featured in the New York Times Magazine.
