When you have some time, I’d like to fill you in on a different co-op loan refinance matter which you handled as lender’s counsel for a bank in 2021. It did not close due to a prior lien that you picked up on in reviewing the co-op lien search. None of the prior lawyers during the shareholders’ initial purchase picked up on the issue.
I represented the shareholders afterwards to clean up the mess, which your attentive eyes had addressed, whereas three prior lawyers, including the shareholders’ purchase counsel, paid no mind. It was an interesting matter, which was finally resolved”
