“Very Impressed with How Hands on It Was.”
To begin, can you please state your name?
Margo Warhit.
Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
I am from Scarsdale, New York. I go to Tusk University. I am 20 years old and about to be a junior in college.
What is your major?
I am majoring in Economics.
What was your role here at Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C.?
I was a summer intern here for two months.
What was it like working here?
I really enjoyed the experience. It’s a very friendly environment and everyone is very helpful and nice.
Did you get to work with Adam Bailey directly?
I did actually. For the first month, Justin the other intern and I were working in Adam’s office so we really got to see the inner workings of the law firm and to hear his phone calls and get research assignments every time he got a phone call.
What type of task did you perform while interning here?
Well, the second half of the internship was spent editing Adam’s book about “How to Buy a Home and Make Money in Real Estate.” We also worked on class rated index for that. In the beginning of the internship, we spent a lot of time at the courthouse watching a criminal trial.
What is the one thing or experience that will stand out in your mind that you gained from working here?
I don’t’ know that I could pinpoint something in general but just getting the feel of an office environment and the day to day attractions and activities was a great learning experience.
What was the best aspect of working here?
I really enjoyed the fact that I got to give my input on projects and I wasn’t asked to do a lot of copying and filing and faxing and those kinds of tasks but I actually had real projects to work on…real work. I recommend interning here if you can get an internship. We were the first college interns here and I was very impressed on how hands-on it really was.
