How did you find Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. ?
I asked around a number of lawyers that I worked with who they would recommend as a very efficient scrappy litigator.
What were your goals that you gave to our law firm that you wanted to achieve?
I was involved with a development deal and we had to work out various issues with the bank. I needed somebody who was experienced who understood workouts and foreclosures and who can communicate to the bank in a very effective way to avoid litigation through settlement.
What methods did Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. use to achieve these goals?
Adam got the job done. In one meeting with myself and some intensive research over the course of a couple of days with he and his associates and one meeting with the bank, we turned everything around and I have to say that his experience, credibility and persuasiveness… saved the day.
What was the end result?
The end result was we successfully concluded our negotiations with the bank – sold the deal…and the bank came out whole. We came out okay and it was a great experience and I think that everybody feels all around that we were extremely well represented and I intend to use Adam again. I have already engaged him for a new project.
What were the firm’s best qualities in assisting to your needs?
There are a lot of academic lawyers and there are a lot of logistic people. I like deal makers. People who can grasp the essential nature of the conflict, who can understand each parties’ needs, who can very quickly research the law and have a grasp of it with their experience and they can suggest practical solutions to resolve a dispute in a minimum of time and with a minimum of money expended.
Have you worked with any other law firms previous to Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C.?
I have been a developer for 20 years. I have been represented by numerous law firms successfully and have had dozens and dozens of transactions.
Could you explain what separates Adam Leitman Bailey, P.C. from those other firms who have previously worked with?
I think every law firm has distinguishing characteristics and for the transaction that Adam and I did together, I have not worked with a good real estate commercial litigator like Adam and he is my go to guy for that issue. I also felt that he was extremely practical and very persuasive and didn’t hesitate to mix it up with the bank. He wasn’t hiding behind papers and documents and weeks and weeks of sort of senseless negotiations. He got it done in a real minimum of time and I was an immediate fan. Everything that I was told about him was true.
Are there any last comments or suggestions you would like to add before we finish?
I am a satisfied client. This is unfortunately a challenging time for people and it’s an excuse for a lot of bad behavior; a lot of people that we all worked with for many, many years and unfortunately, the need for resource like Adam Leitman Bailey in this economy is an important one and I give him my highest recommendations.
