“The scholarship really allowed me to focus on classes I wanted to take and making the most of college without that added worry of ‘how am I going to pay for this education?’”
Breanne Springstead, a recipient of the Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship Award, has recently graduated from Rutgers University. After four years at the University, Ms. Springstead has accomplished a lot, and she credits much of her success to having received the scholarship and Adam Leitman Bailey’s guidance. With the Raymond “Hap” Harrison Scholarship helping her afford her education, Ms. Springstead acknowledged how important that really was saying, “The scholarship really allowed me to focus on classes I wanted to take and making the most of college without that added worry of ‘how am I going to pay for this education?’”
Ms. Springstead, who will be graduating with the highest honors, recently reached out to Adam Leitman Bailey to thank him for all of his guidance, “As graduation approaches, I would like to say another huge thank you to you for all you have done for me over these past four years. My time at Rutgers has been unforgettable. I love everything about it: the people, the accomplishments, the challenges–everything. I’m sure you have heard already, but Obama will be speaking at the university commencement. I’m very excited to hear what he has to say.”
As for her future, Ms. Springstead is planning on traveling this summer and really narrowing her focus. Her career goals are to work in the media industry, with interests in marketing and social media. She is very grateful and appreciative that the scholarship has allowed her to achieve her dreams.
